Membership Information

The Pennsylvania Education Joint Purchasing Council (PAEJPC)is an cooperative purchasing program managed by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) located in Milton, Pennsylvania. The PAEJPC has over 300 members in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. Members can purchase off any of the AEPA contracts along with several regional contracts. In 2006-07 members purchases totaled over $62 million and their estimated savings amounted to over $12 million.

 

Membership is available to:

• Public School District or System

• Vocational Technical School

• Intermediate Unit or Educational Service Agency

• College or University

• Municipality, as defined by the Pennsylvania Cooperation in Governmental Function Act

• Non-public School

• Entity incorporated under the Pennsylvania Non-profit Corporation Law of 1988

• Pubic entity of any other state of the United States

• Non-profit entity of any other state of the United States

 

Members pay an annual membership fee of $250.00 for access to any and all bids and contracts. A 1.5% bid service fee is added to all purchases and is collected by the vendor on behalf of the PAEJPC. Some bids categories such as fuels carries a different bid service fee.
